Now I start private beta test of Open IV, and anyone can join. I’m will be sent (via www.dropbox.com) new beta builds in every few days.
Why is it private beta?
Because it is still very buggy OpenIV and many things don’t work, and I don’t want it to be in public, many people would have problems and they thought that OpenIV quite buggy and not working.
Why?
Because I’m and my friends don’t have a lot time to test OpenIV in full.
How to join?
1. Register on www.dropbox.com
2. Send me a private message with the subject “OpenIV beta test” with your dropbox account e-mail address.
I hope this will help me make OpenIV better. Join to beta test now. Maybe new private beta will be sent tonight.

Make openIV read RPF6! It will read RPF2 and 3 but not RPF6.

Danny, RPF6 uses only in Red Dead Redemption.
I’m do RPF6 support in OpenIV when RDR release on PC, only if PC version will be use RPF6.

Rockstar stated somewhere they were not going to release it for pc. But i see your point in it. Can OpenIV mod scripts for say xbox 360?

DiaBLoW, yes. You need download this Core.xml and placed in OpenIV 0.9 folder.

Lone Wolf, you have too options:
– Copy your EfLC.exe and named it GTAIV.exe
– Edit OpenIV Core.xml and replace GTAIV.exe to EfLC.exe in there.

awsome tool, but while browsing through the folders i wasn’t able to find all radio stations in EfLC. Like the overhauled Vladivostok FM or Electro Choc. They don’t seem to be in the sfx subfolder.. can you tell me where to find em?

KillO7er, OpenIV works ONLY with PC (not ps3 or xbox360) version of GTA IV (and NOT other RAGE games like MC:LA and RDR).

OpenIV common.rpf can open the file on your Xbox 360 to not make it unlock the common.rpf playstation 3 if you want I provided you the common.rpf of Gta IV on Playstation 3 if you look can make OpenIV can open the solution or another

And I’m repeat it again OpenIV works only with PC version of GTA IV. Is never be support xbox360 or ps3 versions.

i got an error like this : “OPENIV can not work because important information wasn´t obteined from the GTAIV.exe. Please, set the correct path to the GTAIV.exe in the OPENIV settings.” and i check the path but is everything is good, can u help me with that please!!!!!!!
i have a patch to run the game with a pc with lower than requirements video settings, will be this the problem.
